The 10th of February is Cream Cheese Brownie Day.
Cream cheese isn’t just for bagels. Imagine it paired indulgently with brownies, like fudge combined with cheesecake.
A cream cheese brownie is a very decadent combination of brownies and cheesecake, fudgy and cheesy at the same time.
The brownies can be made with a layer of cream cheese in them to make a layered dessert, or swirled into the batter to make it marble (better to under swirl than over swirl, you don’t want to stir it all in), or iced with a cream cheese frosting on top, or a combination of these.
See if your local bakery has any on offer today, or you may wish to try to make some. You can make the brownies from scratch, or just put a a box of brownie mix on your shopping list along with a tub of cream cheese.
You could even try making a variety such as red velvet cream cheese brownies or butterscotch cream cheese brownies.
