Cilician Parsley has flat leaves that look more like Maidenhead Fern. It has a very pronounced, sweet fragrance.
It is not available commercially (2004.) It is only available as seeds to home gardeners.
History Notes
Cicilia was an area on the coast of Armenia. It was its own kingdom from 1198 to 1375 AD. It is no longer grown there. It is now grown instead in Northern Cyprus. It was probably brought there in the Middle Ages by trade and exchanges between Northern Cyprus and Cicilia. It was probably first brought to the New World in the 1960s.
